WOW Nurse Ennis visits Year One
Staff Nurse Ennis visited Year One to help us learn about ourselves for our topic Me and My World.
We learned about what nurses do and how to look after our bodies and keep healthy. We also got the opportunity to take our pulse, temperature and try on bandages. It was a lot of fun!
Nurse Ennis showed us photographes of where she worked.
We looked at X-Rays of our skeleton and enjoyed pointing to the different parts of the body.
Some children got the opportunity to have their arms and legs bandaged. They enjoyed wearing these the rest of the day.
Nurse Ennis played alongside children in the role-play area which is set up as a Medical Centre this half term.
